Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
failure to appear fron a ticket before a five year prison term
After a traffic ticket I was sentenced to five years in TDC. I did Some months in the initial county. I tried to get my DL renewed but was told that I have a failure to appear. Can I get ''time served'' since I was there for a time?

You may be able to resolve this on your own, by contacting the municipal prosecutor. If not, an attorney can probably get a bond posted for you, renew the court date and resolve the citation.
