Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
hit and run
I was accused of hitting someone's parked car with mine in the parking lot, even though I deny it and there is no damage to my car. They have since reported my license plate number to the police as a hit and run case. What happens next?

Re: hit and run
You hire a lawyer, just in case. If the police investigate, and determine that there is probable cause to charge you, then you will be arrested.
If not, then the police will determine that it is a civil matter.
Hire a lawyer to make contact with the police to determine if charges are being filed.
