insurance company threatening to turn me in to get licencse suspended
i had an auto accident, had no insurance. i have already paid the ticket and court costs. now a lawyer for other persons insurance company is calling to threaten to turn me in to get my licencse suspended if I don't pay $1400.00 they never say who they are and they won't give there address. can they do that? what should i do?

Start by recording the calls. Your license may be in trouble, but you can pay a surcharge to keep it from being suspended. You may be responsible for the damages you caused, however, if you are being threatened, that is illegal.
