Depends upon where you are, where the tickets are from, and what the tickets are for. Some county jails will let you do the time in the city jail (which is sometimes less offensive); you could get credit for time served sometimes 3 for 1 day; I am aware of a couple of city jails that credit $100 per day, but most are less. Call the court clerk and ask anonymously what the per day rate is in their jail. You may prefer to hire a lawyer. (You will not only have the fines on the tickets but on the failures to appear, as well).
