Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
No license plate on utility trailer
I lost my license plate and I was on my way over to pick up a new one from my boss when I was stopped by a dps and ticketed. If you can prove with registration paper that the plate was renewed the same day, can you get out of paying ticket in the state of Texas?

Re: No license plate on utility trailer
I am not aware of a state law on the topic, however, the policy of most city courts will allow the dismissal under the circumstances you described.
