Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas

moving violation suspension

My daughter got a moving violation shortly after she turned 16, which was dismissed after a safety driving course. She got another violation after turning 17 (driving an unfamiliar vehicle since she'd been hit by a hit-and-run driver). That was set up as a deferred. That deferred period has not ended but she got another moving violation on her way to meet a friend who had just been kicked out of their house. Would an attorney be able to get her latest moving violation modified to some form where she'd be able to keep her deferred? I understand with the latest moving violation, in conjunction with her deferred being modified to a conviction, that she may lose her license. She maintains a job, home schools and has a B average; any chance of the judge NOT suspending the license?

Thanks!

Re: moving violation suspension

Yes, get her a lawyer -- a lawyer may very well be able to get her deferred on the second one to run concurrent with the first one.
