Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
parking ticket
i parked the wrong way in front of my home. I woke up to a ticket on my car, but they got the name wrong... j b m... instead of b j m... Is the ticket vailed.. shouldn't they give a warning first. We have parked that way for four years with no problem

Re: parking ticket
I have seen this happen in my neighborhood recently. It is, in my opinion absurd, and a cheap way to increase city coffers. It is also legal. In order to get the ticket dismissed, the error needs to be material. The court might consider this a material error, but will require a court date.
