Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Payment from an uninsured motorist
What responsibilities to pay does the person who causes an accident have when they were driving without insurance? They wouldn't pay before the repairs were made and now that the repairs are complete they won't meet at my convenience to make the payment. They want me to arrange my schedule around their convenience. There is a police report on record.

To the % of fault the person was, they must pay if they do not your option is to take them to court. In Texas if the damages were less than $5,000.00 you may sue in JP court. If you need any help e mail me.
