Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
policeman order
My son was stopped by the police, I walked to my son and the cop told me to move back to the curb. I told the cop I wanted to speak with my son and he would not allow me to do so. Is there a law that I must move when the cop tells me to move when I am doing nothing wrong.

Re: policeman order
There is a law that says a cop can prevent you from interfering in a lawful arrest or investigation. Texas Penal Code 38.15(a). Proof of the speech only factor would be a question for the jury.
