Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
I received a speeding ticket 30 in 43. This is the truth. My son and I were having a conversation about speed when I was pulled over and I was definitely going 30. What should I do? I dont deny someone was speeding but it wasnt me.

Take it to trial. You will need to decide if you wish to go forward with or without an attorney. The municipal court is normally lenient to an extent, but you will still be held to the same standards of evidence and procedure as an attorney. When you set it for trial, ask the prosecutor if you will need to file a formal motion for discovery, or they will provide a copy of their file to you. Good luck. (be careful, there isn't any such thing as a zoned 43 mph).
