Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas

I received a speeding ticket for going 40 in a 30 zone. The ticket states speeding-posted. However; there are no posted signs on this road and I have a signed letter for the city employee stating as such. Do you feel I have a chance to have this dismissed if I request a trial? Does the fact that it says "posted" on the ticket automatically make this ticket null and void?

The ticket is not automatically void. If you can present competent evidence (witnesses and tangible evidence) that there is no notice of the speed limit, you have a good chance of the judge finding you not guilty.
