Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Speeding in Texas
I received a speeding ticket last weekend for 65 in a 50. The road was a country back road were the speedlimit changes constantly going through the small towns. I could see the next limit sign that read 55 from where the policeman pulled me over. I am not 100% sure of my speed it was between 60 and 65. My major concern is insurance I do not have a ticket on my insurance and don't want it to increase for this ticket. I did traffic school in 2006 for a ticket to have it dismissed, but I am not sure if it has been a complete year. Is there anyway I can avoid having this on my insurance?
