Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Speeding Ticket Error
I just got a speeding ticket for going 45 in a 30 in Texas. However, there is a section of the ticket for if I was searched, marked no, and if contraband was found, which was accidentally marked Yes. The section right after it for What kind of contraband was found was left blank. Can I argue this in court to get the ticket dropped, and how should I do that?

I doubt if you would be successful. Errors on the citation need to be material ones, which result in a failure to properly notice you of the charges against you. My guess would be that the judge would not consider this material.
