Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas

Old Speeding Ticket

I received a speeding ticket in April 2004 in Fort Worth Texas, but since I was not a resident of that state (I am a resident of CO)and they gave me a ''deferred dispoition'' ticket where I would pay a fee and be fine. While looking through old files I found the ticket and realized that it hasn't been paid. What can I do now? Is there a warrent out for my arrest in Texas? What does this do to my driving record? Thanks for any information.

Re: Old Speeding Ticket

go to NCDD.com and locate an attorney in Ft. Worth. call that attorney and you will get the best information.

But, likely you can call the Court Clerk for the County where the ticket was issued and find out the status. You may even be able to pay the ticket over the phone with a credit card.
