Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas

i just recived a letter saying that i have a outstanding ticket back in 98. i have renewed my license sence then. i also recived my emt certifcation and nothing ever came up with that. is there a statue of limitations for something like this? thanks

Yes, provided you were living in the State of Texas during that interim period. You will probably need an attorney to obtain a dismissal for you. On the other hand, it might be cheaper to take deferred and pay the costs.
