Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
I was ticketed while parked and sitting in my car, how is this legal?

It depends on what you were ticketed for and when. If you are violating some sort of law (by parking in the wrong area or playing music louder than a local ordinance allows), it doesn't matter that you were parked and not moving. If the officer saw you commit the violation before you were parked, that also may be basis for him or her to come into contact with you.
