Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
time limit on tickets?
i recieved a speeding ticket on Jan 20th and was to appear before the judge on or before Feb 1st. It is now the 5th and it has not been entered into the system. Is my ticket void?

Re: time limit on tickets?
Probably not. Sometimes there is just a delay. You may want to hire a lawyer to handle this. Four prior tickets will jeopardize your license, and make it more difficult to negotiate this one.
