I was towing a stranded person�s vehicle with a tow strap while the person was in the vehicle steering. The towed vehicle became unhooked and caused a major accident. Who is liable for damages?

If I were on a jury, I'd probably find that both of you were liable. The PERCENTAGES of liability would depend on the facts.
