Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Traffic Ticket
I received a notice from Dallas Texas that my license was suspended for failure to appear on a faulty light citation in OCtober 2003. I haven't lived in Texas for five years, and received a verbal warning during the incident, and never received a citation, yet the letter said that past notifications were ignored. Advice on what I should do.

Re: Traffic Ticket
If your license was suspended, there is probably also a warrant on the failure to appear. You will have to pay a cash bond in the amount of the fine, to get the case set back on the court docket, to either get it dismissed or negotiated. Once the court case is taken care, then the results will determine what happens to your license.
