I am having trouble with my son smoking pot. He is 16 and we live in Tx. If he is driving my vehicle and is pulled over can they seize my vehicle if they find a small amount in the car?

They can, but it is unlikely that they would for a small amount. However, he can be given a DWI (intoxication by marijuana) and you could be held civilly liable if he causes an accident. AND, if that were to happen and you ended up in a lawsuit in which you were questioned about your knowledge of his use of marijuana, you could find yourself on the bad end of a large judgment for negligent entrustment.
Why don't you make driving conditioned on passing a drug test? Marijuana stays in one's system for about 30 days.
