Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
right turn verses texas uturn
Intersection with a single right turn lane and light. Three lane road to turn onto. Third lane has a texas uturn (with yield sign) merging in 100 feet down. 1) is it legal to make a right turn into the far left lane? 2) if not whose at fault if person in uturn lane pulls out and is hit? 3) if so the question is moot.

Hopefully another attorney will respond who understands the second part of your question, because I don't. However, it is not legal to turn right, into a far left lane. Traffic law requires you to turn into the farthest right lane, and then change lanes, one at a time.
