Adding Partner to Deed of Home

I purchased a home from my partner but he is not on the deed. How can I ensure that he can assume ownership and deed if I die?

If the partner is not on the deed, then what did the partner sell you? This may be a fraud in a real estate transaction. You better get clear what the partner was selling, before you start worrying about events on your death.
