Do we have to go through probate if we can furnish an Affividait of Heirship?

I don't have enough information to answer this. Are there estate liabilities? Are there other estate assets besides real property? Heirship affidavits can establish title to real property in some situations. It's not appropriate for all situations, however.

Depends on whether or not administration is required, or if the will has a distribution different from the distributon under intestacy.
Size and complexity of the estate may also enter into it.
