asset transfer after death
My mother recently passed away without a will. She owned some heir property that was left to her by her deceased father. The property is located in Rusk County, Texas. I am her only child and she was never married. What do I need to do to have this property transferred over to me.

What to do depends on how your mother acquired the property. Did the father have a will? Was it probated? Also, did your mother have debts when she died? Are there any other assets besides the house in the mother's estate? is the house financed or did you mother own it outright?
