Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Attorney disconnect

What is the rational behind the Texas attorney for the estate telling the beneficiaries who have obtained their own legal counsel that she can no longer answer their questions directly becuse they have legal representation. Does the estate attorney represent the independent administrator in any fashion?

Re: Attorney disconnect

Unless your attorney specifically tells the estate's attorney that he or she can speak directly with you, that attorney is prohibited from going around your attorney.

The estate's attorney usually represents the executor or administrator in their official capacity.
