Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
attorney vindictive
My father passed away about a year ago. My brother moved into the estate house without permission and cherry picked whatever personal property he wanted (no inventory done). There are questionable things that were done with my father's finances before he died. We called the attorney and went his office asking him to do something about this. He did nothing as he has known my brother for years.(This was an expensive home that would rent high). We sent a registered letter to the attorney requesting rent and financials. He got angry at us and never responded to our letter. We hired an attorney. He never responded to him (our attorney), but did take his calls. Now the house is sold and the estate attorney is charging us $1000.00 for every time we contacted him or our attorney did. Our brother said the attorney was going see to it that we got nothing and he only has to pay us 1 cent each rent for living in the house for over 6 months. We have still not received any money from the sale of the home. Our brother said the attorney is trying to fix it so we get as little as possible if anything. At $1000.00 per call, we dare not call anymore. Can the attorney and my brother get away with this?

Re: attorney vindictive
Have your attorney move the court for a full accounting and possible removal of the executor.
