Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Attorney's fees - probate

Finally received the executors estate accounting after two years! There are no dated vouchers, receipts of any kind to support any of the income or expenses of the estate. Can beneficiaries request a detailed time sheet to support legal fees they consider excessive? Is this done throught the probate court judge who we had to petition to issue an order to the executor to produce the accounting? Thank you.

Re: Attorney's fees - probate

If the executor will not voluntarily produce the supportng data, you'll have to move the court to order that production.
