Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
My aunt and I are both owners of 16 acers. I want to divide it. What are my rights of having fifty percent ownership? How do I go about dividing it? My primary residence is on the north side of the property. Her secondary residence is on the south side of the property. The reason I am wanting to divide it is because she is having company that i have respectfully asked her not to have on the property. Which is making me very uncomfortable in my home.

You would file a suit for partition of the property. Be prepared to pay lots of money to a lawyer.
The question for the court to decide is: Where would the dividing line be drawn?
Your best bet is to come to an agreement with your aunt as to an equitible division. Once you have agreed, a title company can help you with the conveyance. If you can't agree, you can file an action to partition the property. You will need a lawyer.
