automobile title/ownership

Im the heir to a friends estate along with his children I have the biggest percentage my question is concerning a automobile that is in his name but I have been paying for..automobile is not in the will...Do I have to notilfy the fiance company or can I continue to pay the note? And after I pay it off how can I get the title in my name?

If the will is in your friend's name, you will have to go through the probate court to have the vehicle and title transferred to you. Be prepared to prove that you have been making the payments. The Order of the Probate Court can be used to complete the DMV form to transfer the title to you.
