Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Beneficiary in a will.......

Should I do a demand for notice in the probate court? The reason I ask this is because the bank which was my friends executor (her bank) will not even tell me if I'm in the will and for what? I'm concerned because I was told by the deceased that the executor was someone else. Then when she died I hear that it was the bank. I know that because I finally called the bank myself after all kinds of run arounds. I just want what ever any of my friends wishes were to be carried out respectfully......

If the will has been filed for probate, then it is public record and you can go down to the probate court to look at it, and/or order a copy. A look at the will should answer your questions.
