my biological dad died and my step mother claims i will have whats coming to me when she dies. what if she remarries? do i have any grounds for inheritance? should i get a lawyer?

You should contact an attorney to protect your interests. If there wasn't a will, his non-homestead property may be yours and his other children outside the marriage now.
