Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
my boyfriend appointed me as independant executor of his will left his home to me. under specific gift's, insurance,article 111 B. states that he give's to each recepient an item of tangible personal property my interest in any insurance covering the item. my purpose in making this gift is to give each recipient the benefit of insurance coverage for which i have already paid. it is not my intention to give any proceeds of an insurance claim that exists but is unpaid at my death. what does this mean?

Sorry for your loss..but if the will is NOT probated within 4 years, it is invalid and all of his assets are distributed by the law of descent....and as to insurance..it sounds like coverage..but would be interprested by the Probate Court..you should hire a lawyer...call me if I can help or hire a lawyer in the county where he resided at death
