My brother passed away without a will. He has savings bonds in his name, what can be done with them?

First, check to see if the savings bonds have a beneficiary designation. If so, then the beneficiary can present a death certificate, and the bank will honor the beneficiary designation.
If there was no designation, then you will need to determine what assets and liabilities your brother had, and the heirs to his estate. Depending on the answers, you have a number of options available through the probate court.
