change of will with alzheimers

on feb 23, 2005 my sister in law had her daughter added as a co executor. he died 10 months later with advanced stages of alzheimers. my sister in law took him to get this done knowing that he had the disease. is this change valid. fiy he died in our home where we had taken care of him for 5 years, all the time giving the sil money from the estate.

If he was competent to make the will at the time he made it, it's legal.

Being co-executor simply means that she will have to participate in gathering the estate and distributing it in accordance with the terms of the will.
