Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

To whom it my concern:

My grandmother recently passed away, with my mother being her only child. She had a will and my mother is the beneficiary and Im Co-beneficiary. For many years now, my grandmother informed us(her 3 grandchildren) that she had a policy(an annuity) for us and to be divided into 3rds. We were the beneficiary's to the policy until recently when it was changed. My grandmother got really sick and 5 months before she passed the beneificiary was changed into my mothers name. The change of beneficiary form had my grandmothers name but signed by my mother(who does not have power of attorney). My mother recieved alot of inheridence and we feel that she is taking the only thing that was left for us. Do we have a case?
