Can I contest my father's will. I was never contacted or inform. I do not live in san antonio, but he and my family have lived here all our lifes. I just found out that he had past away thru my sister. she was at a party and heard about it. She check to see if it was the right person and it was

In order for your father's will to take effect, it has to be probated. If no will is probated, there is nothing to contest. Without a will, the estate will have to be administered and assets will pass under Texas Intestacy law
