Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
I'm a convicted felon and have served my prison time and completed my parole , and have real problem with the Law telling me I can not be the executor of my wife and my will ???

Section 304.003 of The estates codes disqualifies convicted felons from serving as executors or administrators of an estate unless they have been pardoned or have had their civil rights restored. Section 48.05 of the texas code of criminal procedure discusses the procedure for restoration of civil rights.
