Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My dad died recently..my mom is living but "incompetent" due to health. My brother was made "Executor" of their will/estate. It seems my mom has a "revocable trust" listed on their public records sheet.

My daughter/and sons are living in their house..but my brother is not taking care of them as he said..the water has been turned off (over 3 weeks) and now the elec probably will be too..soon. Not sure if he is making payments on the house? He will not let me see any of the papers/will..etc. He will not contact us..or help us in any way.

As a rightful heir, dont I have any recourse..I would like to buy the house. What can I do legally?

Get a probate attorney immediately. As executor, he has a "fiduciary" duty to put your interests above his own. You can demand an accounting. Based on what you said, it might be possible for you to have him removed as executor.
