Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

death records

What information needs to be sent / filed in counties where my Dad owned oil and gas royalties. His will has been probated in the county of his residence, but the oil companies are saying we need to file ''documentation'' in the counties where the oil properties lie. What is that ''documentation.''
