Death of Step Grandmother
I had a step grandmother to pass away recently. My aunt called and wanted all of my brothers and sisters address and all she would tell us is she needed it to submit to the court. My question is why would she need that - are we included in the will or maybe my mother was and now we get my mothers share because she is no longer living?

The answer to your question lies in the courthouse of the county in which your step grandmother died. Look her name up in the probate records. If nothing is there, go back every month for about 6 months to see if a probate has been filed.

If your aunt needs that information to submit to the court, it's probably because there isn't a will and heirship needs to be determined.
