Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Eligible to inherit from Texas in Georgia?

Grandfather (Texas Resident) had daughter who was adopted as a child in GA. She had a son. She died as an adult. The son was adopted by maternal grandparents. Bio GF died. Daughter could inherit from Texas, BUT can grandson inherit her portion since the parental relationship was severed by the adoption of the GA resident grandparents. Grandchild lives in GA.
