Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Would I be able to enter the home of my deceased uncle to retrieve my deceased father's personal belongings (Vietnam War identification tags, photographs, slides, etc.)?

I am the only child of my father who lived in the same house as his parents (my grandparents) prior to his death.

After my father passed away, my grandfather passed away.

Then my uncle moved into the house with my grandmother and my grandmother deeded the house to my uncle (according to online public records).

Then my grandmother passed away and my uncle passed away after her and he left no will.

He had never married and had no children and while alive prevented me from obtaining my father's personal belongings.

My grandparents had only two children (my father and uncle).

I understand there are estate debts (property taxes owing on the house). I can't afford a probate lawyer unless the fees are payed from the estate which I estimate to be valued less than $100,000.
