Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

establishing trust

I am the executrix of my aunt's estate. Her will specified that I sell her house, distribute assetts by $ amount then remaining $Standish put in a trust for my mother. It also states that I am the trustee.

1- Do I need a different EIN for the trust since there is already one for the estate account.

2-Can I add one of my sisters as a (co-trustee) if not stated in the will

Go to your local bank to set up the trust account. They will guide you as to their requirements. You can decline being trustee or appoint your sister as an alternate. The bank can help you there as well.
