Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Estate Probate

I do not want to sell my grandmother's house, I would want to keep it as my portion of the estate. How do I prevent Uncle from demolishing the home and buying the property at a cheaper price; which clearly belongs to only me and my sister? Do I have to have her approval or can I request this at probate? There is no will but how can he be independent executor without a will (uncle)?

Re: Estate Probate

He was probably named independent executor because he filed an application for probate without a will because of the estate. If you want what's yours, you better get a lawyer fast and oppose what he is doing. Good Luck.
