Estate question regarding back taxes

My father and 4 siblings are heir to some property that has been behind on taxes 5 years. The taxes owed are very high, and none of the siblings can afford to pay them. If I pay the taxes will I have stake at the property?

Just paying the taxes will not give you an ownership interest, although it may give you a lien against the property. You should go see an estate/probate attorney to discuss the situation and your options.
