can a executor stop power of attorney
My husbands father passed away and left everything to their mother. His brother has felonies and was left power of attorney. My husband is the executor. They put everything into a trust. His brother no longer works and is spending the money. Is there any way my husband can stop him?

A power of attorney dies with the person who granted the power. Your husband needs to notify whomever is releasing funds that the POA is no longer valid. You should also consider getting a restraining order against the brother to force him to stop.

I'm assuming that it's the mother's PoA. She's the only one that can cancel it and stop him.
When your husband transferred the father's property to the mother, his work as executor was done.
