Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

What do I do as Executor of a will, though dad is still alive, but in bad shape, if I am unable to find my sister who is to inherit (small amount) equally? Haven't been able to find her in 3yrs, and I work for a state law enforcement agency and have last known address, but no one knows them (small town), what should I do or be doing?

You are not the Executor until your dad is dead and the probate court has formally appointed you, even then you have some time. Have you tried any of the online search sites or a skip tracer? Good luck.
