Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Family Feuding
Do I have a leg to stand on when I am taken out of will without notification from courts to appear at any will reading? Aren't all beneficiaries supposed to be present when a will is read?

When an application for the probate of a written will is produced in court, the applicant (executor) must issue a citation of all interested parties, which includes the beneficiaries.

Just because you expected to be a beneficiary doesn't mean you were. The person who made the Will had the right to include or exclude anyone they wanted to. If you weren't in the Will there was no duty to notify you the estate was being probated.
