Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My father is deceased and my sister is named as executor. She has not complied with the wishes in the will and has not produced bank statements to other siblings. Also, is guardian to a disabled sibling and is not handling monies well. Says if we contest she can cut us out completely. Can we get a lawyer to find out if funds and assets are being used and sold properly without actually contesting the will?

In terrorem clauses were somewhat invalidated by recent legislation. Also, you don't seem to be contesting the will per se, but rather the subsequent administration. You can demand an accounting, and one is required within 180 days of letters being issued. Feel free to call me for more information.
