Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
My father died ten years ago, at the time I was 16. My stepmother refused to give me my things and I have now found out that my Father's most prized 1970 SS Chevelle is with my stepmother's ex-boyfriend. Supposably, she needed a place to keep a few of the family's things and her boyfriend said it would be okay for her to store everything at his place/garage. Long story short, he is now saying he isn't giving anything back. How do I get my Dad's car back?

The first thing you need to do is to find out if your father had a will and it was probated. If it was and left everything to your stepmom then you are out luck. Additionally 10 years is probably too long to wait to do anything in court.
